GRONO project: a successful collaboration with AXPO

An important project was carried out for AXPO in Grono to replace damaged cables following recent storms and secure the region's electricity infrastructure for the long term.

In this video, Thierry Bandelier shows the most important stages and challenges of the construction site.

A total of over 5,300 metres of cable was laid, including GKN 3x10/10 mm² Curm and a fibre optic cable.

A project with special conditions:

• Access exclusively by helicopter
• Around 40 cm of mud that had to be removed from the gallery
• And the necessary expertise for underground laying

Thanks to the efforts of the entire team – from planning and production to logistics and installation – a reliable, powerful and sustainable solution was delivered.
