The Sunniberg bridge crosses Landquart at Serneus in a generously curving arc. The carriageway is suspended on inclined cables from four, gently outward-inclined pylons. The 4.2 km Gotschna tunnel links the Sunniberg bridge with Selfranga at an incline of 4%.

Nexans is proud of its contribution to this outstanding structure. Equipped by Nexans, the Gotschna tunnel and the Sunniberg suspension bridge above Landquart together form a road infrastructure at a technically high level.

Cables supplied by Nexans for this project:

  • Security cable NOflamm PLUS®-FE180-Flex(C)
  • Radio communication cable including fittings
  • Medium voltage and low voltage cables
  • Twisted pair cables
